My name is Becky and I am a former teacher and recently graduated occupational therapy assistant. I created this blog with the intention of sharing ideas and resources with practicing pediatric OT practitioners. I also noticed when searching, that there are not many blogs out there created by COTAs. Therefore, I want to use this as a motivator for other COTAs to share their treatment ideas and advocate for the OT profession.
As I am getting started, I cannot guarantee that I will post daily as I am still studying for boards (yikes!) and looking for a pediatric job. However, I hopefully want to build and add to this blog as I gain experience in pediatric occupational therapy practice. I hope that you will follow along this journey with me whether you are a student in occupational therapy school or you are an experienced OT practitioner! There is more to come!
